Safety and stability should always be the top priority when working at height. Our range of high-quality, robust scaffold castors is designed to meet and exceed the requirements of the challenging environments in which scaffolding structures are used.
Scaffolding fitting types
Suitable for industry-standard scaffold tubes. The range consists of 2 different fitting types: Male and female. The Male type has a solid spigot or expander fitted on the top of the castor, which is slotted into the female scaffold tube. The Female type is the opposite and has a hollow spigot into which the scaffold tube is fitted.
Applications
Heavy loads
These castors are made from high-grade steel or cast iron and are designed to withstand harsh construction site conditions while supporting equipment, materials and workers on the scaffolding platform.
Uneven terrain
Polyurethane-wheeled castors offer enhanced durability and smooth rolling over rough surfaces, making them a reliable choice for manoeuvring on construction sites amid debris.
Frequent movement
Rubber-wheeled castors provide optimal grip and noise reduction, making them ideal for indoor or delicate flooring applications. They enable easy repositioning of scaffolding towers for optimal access.
Our scaffold castors, with their 360-degree swivelling feature, offer excellent manoeuvrability in tight spaces. They come in sizes ranging from 125mm to 200mm, and we have different wheel types for various surfaces. We offer both braked and non-braked castors, all of which undergo testing according to BS & BE:EN standards.
With decades of experience, our specialists are experts in advising and specifying top-quality castor solutions, including low level castors, heavy duty castors, and high performance stainless steel castors. Don’t hesitate to reach out and speak to an advisor today.
